Close market due to corona / mob in Chhattisgarh, FIR against cricketer from Dubai

Durg. The NRI cricketer, who returned to the fort after playing cricket from Dubai, did not inform the police and the health department about his arrival. Instead of isolating himself, he kept on associating with friends. Wandered around with them. Police got information through the councilor. The cricketer confessed to going abroad for questioning. SSP Ajay Yadav said that on the information received from Councilor Jai Prakash Yadav, Supaela had sent TI Gopal Vaishya for verification. After the information was confirmed, the police registered a case against him under Section 269,270,271 of the IPC and Section 3 of the Pandemic Act 1897. He was released on bail.

People not serious about lockdown

The district witnessed negligence on Wednesday amid lockdowns. Crowds of people gathered in some major markets of the city. Collector Ankit Anand has issued an order to close all shops except medical stores in these areas. These include shops associated with grains and other essential food items. Apart from these identified places, shops related to food grains and other food items will remain open in other parts of the city. According to the order of the Collector, all shops except the medical stores in the surrounding area including Sarafa Line, Hari Bazaar, Gandhi Chowk, Grain Line, Vegetable Market will remain closed. Action will be taken for violation of the order.

Hemchand Yadav Durg University canceled the examination

Hemchand Yadav University has canceled all examinations of all undergraduate and post-graduation classes till May. The university examinations were scheduled to be held by the first week of May. After a new order of governance, the University decided to cancel the examination. Its information has been given to all the departments concerned.
