292 people roundup during coronavirus / curfew from 7am to 7pm

Chandigarh During the curfew, the UT police remained stationed on the streets throughout the night and kept patrolling the people wandering needlessly after patrolling. The police had rounded up 292 people from 7 am to 7 am in the night. These people were roaming the city without any reason. All were rounded up after which they were released.

Most of that roundup was from the East Division and South Division. Actually, both of these divisions have colonies of the city. 126 in the South Division, 138 in the East Division, and the Central Division in which 28 people have been roundup.

At the same time, police rounded up 92 different vehicles in the city. Which includes 43 two-wheelers, 8 three-wheelers, and 41 four-wheelers. While 8 vehicles were impounded by the police. Which includes 2 two-wheelers and 6 cars.

The police have registered a total of 30 cases for disobeying the orders of the DC i.e. Section 188 and moving the curfew without any reason. Police arrested 39 people in this. On the other hand, the police have arrested 3 people under Section 269,270 i.e., risking the lives of others and registered three cases. In the case registered under section 188, 6 cases have been registered in Central Division, Central Division and 26 cases have been registered in South Division. Apart from this, the police is also strictly acting with the shopkeepers of the shops open in curfew. SI shop at Ramdarbar at around one and a half this afternoon, a shopkeeper got up a meeting.
