Tension with China continues on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Meanwhile, the 740 km long Line of Control (LoC) continues to remain tense with Pakistan. There was a violent clash between soldiers of India and China in Galvan on the night of 15-16 June, since then Pakistan also increased the firing.
From Uri to Nowshera sector, firing is also being done in many villages from the Pakistan side. On June 20, BSF jawans killed a drone. Through this drone, ammunition and weapons were being delivered to the terrorists.
Pakistani soldiers were already deployed
According to reports, the Pakistani Army had already deployed personnel with heavy caliber guns close to the LoC's Rajouri and Poonch sectors. After the skirmish between India and China, the Pakistani army deliberately started firing mortar shells in civilian areas and is trying to target civilian areas as well as military areas. In the last week, the Pakistani Army has done the job of instigating the Indian Army, especially in the south, Pir Panjal, and North Kashmir.
More incidents of firing are coming out in Shahpur Kirani, Khari Karama, and Mankot sectors. There were 140 incidents of border violations on the LoC in June. Ceasefire violations were carried out seven to eight times a day. At the same time, more than 2050 cases of ceasefire violations have been reported on the border since January. Meanwhile, the Indian Army killed four heavily armed intruders.
One woman died, two dozen families shifted
Many civilians' houses have also been damaged in these clashes along the border. Mortar shells were fired from Pakistan. Tension has been building in Kupwara and Baramulla for the past several days. A woman died last week in the village under the Uri sector, while more than two dozen families have been evacuated to safer places.
People in the village say that since 1999, they had not seen such heavy firing in the area. People from the worst affected areas are constantly demanding bunker construction. The construction of 6581 bunkers in the border of districts adjoining the LoC was completed before the lockdown. These include 5867 individuals and 714 community bunkers. The central government has approved the construction of 14,460 bunkers for the Jammu and Kashmir border areas. 415.73 crores were approved in December 2017 for this.
Terrorists trying to enter inside
In the midst of the shootout, the Pakistani army is also trying to take armed infiltrators to the Indian border in small groups. According to intelligence agencies, heavily armed intruders are encamped in small groups close to the border and are intending to enter India. About 250 terrorists have been brought close to the border so that they can be sent to India anyway.
In the Kashmir Valley, at least 114 terrorists have been wiped out due to the huge success of Operation All Out. The commanders of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, Hizbul Mujahideen, and Ansar Gajwa-tul-Hind (AGH) Hind were neutralized by the army.
